Notes

'New Zealand White Clover' white clover (Trifolium repens 'New Zealand White Clover') is a groundcover for pollinator gardens and low maintenance areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It creeps and grows fast, so it fills bare ground quickly. White and green blooms appear in spring, summer, and autumn, and they draw bees and butterflies. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Virginia strawberry, Fire Island hosta, and Lemon balm.
