Notes

'Nice Gal' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Nice Gal') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The big, frosted, semi-double flowers are rose-pink. The blooms sit low near the bush, so it works well as a landscape plant. Breeder William Henry Krekler developed it.

Pairs well with Balloon flower, Pink Impression tulip, and Royal fern.
