Notes
'Nikita' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Nikita') is a bulb for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. Tall red flowers are fragrant and attract bees. They open from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Tjeerd Dijkstra bred it.
Pairs well with Shasta daisy, Fountain grass, and Stock.
