Notes

'Nippon' eulalia (Miscanthus sinensis 'Nippon') is a grass for borders, specimen planting, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms an arching clump that grows 36 to 48 inches tall, and birds visit the plant. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The foliage turns color in fall.

Pairs well with Blue wild indigo, Japanese forest grass, and Queen of Night tulip.
