Notes
'No Greater Love' peony (Paeonia 'No Greater Love') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The upward facing double flowers open light yellow-pink and fade to pale yellow with age, and the sealed buds last well in a vase. Paul & Esther Simmons bred it.
Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Nodding onion.
