Notes

'Northern Lights' rose (Rosa 'Northern Lights') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The medium pink blooms are fragrant and attract bees. Flowers appear in late spring, again from early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Alexander bred it in 1977.

Pairs well with Stargazer lily, Fragrant Bouquet hosta, and Climbing hydrangea.
