Notes

'Northrepps' peony (Paeonia 'Northrepps') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its petal-packed yellow flowers are semi-double and fragrant, and they attract butterflies and bees on stems up to 35 inches tall. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Harald Fawkner bred it.

Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, PowWow White coneflower, Prairie dropseed, and Nodding onion.
