Notes

'Norwhinat' coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Norwhinat') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and cut flower beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White petals surround an orange-brown center cone from early to late summer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Indian Summer rudbeckia, Little bluestem, Moonshine yarrow, and Nodding onion.
