Notes

'Okura' tulip (Tulipa 'Okura') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Red flowers open from early to late spring on stems about 20 inches tall. Plant the bulbs in groups for a bold splash of color in the garden. Konijnenburg & Mark bred it.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Fanal astilbe, and Little bluestem.
