Notes

'Olaf Palme' tulip (Tulipa 'Olaf Palme') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers open in early to late spring and stand about 20 inches tall. The blooms show a dark purple-red color with blood red spots on the outside, and the petals glow orange-red inside.

Pairs well with Mount Hood daffodil, Angel Cheeks peony, and Ernest Markham clematis.
