Notes
'Olivia Saunders' peony (Paeonia 'Olivia Saunders') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Tall single goblet blooms rise high on the plant and fade from light cherry to light pink. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The flowers are fragrant, and Arthur Percy Saunders bred it in 1943.
Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Queen of Night tulip, and Little bluestem.
