Notes

'Olympic Medal' tulip (Tulipa 'Olympic Medal') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows about 18 inches tall and bears yellow blooms from early to late spring. J.C.N. van Bentem bred it. The flowers are good for cutting and bring color to a spring border.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Ernest Markham clematis, and Little bluestem.
