Notes

'Open Arms' peony (Paeonia 'Open Arms') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Nate Bremer bred it, and the blush pink single flowers fade to cream. The upright plants need no support and suit the front edge of a garden. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Prairie dropseed, and Halcyon hosta.
