Notes
'Oplontis' peony (Paeonia 'Oplontis') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Early double flowers open salmon-pink and fade to cream. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Stems may need support once the blooms open.
Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Golden Tiara hosta, and Blue grama.
