Notes

'Orange Glory' peony (Paeonia 'Orange Glory') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Edward Auten, Jr bred it in 1956, and the fragrant, orange-red single flowers hold their color. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Halcyon hosta, Nodding onion, and Blue grama.
