Notes

'Orange Rocket' Japanese barberry (Berberis thunbergii 'Orange Rocket') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows in a dense, upright form and tolerates drought and salt. Bees and birds visit it. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Caramel coral bells, Silver feather grass, and Smoketree.
