Notes

'Osaka' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Osaka') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The blooms have a Japanese flower form, with a fine light to medium light pink color. Cut the stems for bouquets, and the border will still look full. Give it a spot where the clumps can stay put for years.

Pairs well with Bobo hydrangea, Carnaval De Nice tulip, Knapweed, and Royal fern.
