Notes
'Ozark Beauty' everbearing strawberry (Fragaria ananassa 'Ozark Beauty') is a fruit for food gardens, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It stays 6 to 9 inches tall and spreads by creeping to 12 to 18 inches. White flowers open in spring, summer, and autumn, and they draw bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Lemon balm, Genovese basil, and Six Hills Giant nepeta.
