Notes

'Paddy McGredy' rose (Rosa 'Paddy McGredy') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The compact, bushy plant grows 24 to 30 inches tall and bears fragrant, medium pink blooms that attract bees. Samuel Darragh McGredy IV bred it in 1962 and named it for his sister.

Pairs well with Green Velvet buxus, Amsonia, and Virginia sweetspire.
