Notes

'Painted Lily' tulip (Tulipa 'Painted Lily') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are buttercup yellow edged with scarlet. They open from early to late spring on stems about 24 inches tall, so they work well in a vase.

Pairs well with Bridal Crown daffodil, Blush peony, and Ernest Markham clematis.
