Notes
'Paisley Pup' drooping laurel (Leucothoe fontanesiana 'Paisley Pup') is an evergreen shrub for shade gardens, woodland settings, specimen planting, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching stems carry blooms in early to late spring that attract butterflies and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer. Give it a spot where the arching form has room to show.
Pairs well with Bowman's root, Deciduous azalea, and Reed grass.
