Notes

'Palibin' lilac (Syringa pubescens 'Palibin') is a shrub for hedges and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Its pale pink flowers are fragrant and draw butterflies, bees, and birds. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates drought once settled in.

Pairs well with Double Play Doozie spirea, Showy milkweed, Mount Hood daffodil, and Blue grama.
