Notes

Paperbush (Edgeworthia chrysantha) is a shrub for shade gardens, woodland edges, and winter interest, and it also works as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy soil. Fragrant yellow flowers open in late winter and into spring, and bees and butterflies visit them. The rounded shrub grows 48 to 72 inches tall and wide at a moderate pace.
