Notes

'Paprika' rose (Rosa 'Paprika') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. The orange-red blooms open in late spring and again from summer into autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Alain A. Meilland bred it in 1958.

Pairs well with Paprika yarrow, Strawberry Sundae panicle hydrangea, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
