Notes

'Paraplu Pure White' rose of sharon (Hibiscus syriacus 'Paraplu Pure White') is a shrub for pollinator gardens and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet soil. It grows fast and holds an erect shape, which suits a hedge. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Big bluestem, Virginia spiderwort, and Pink Lemonade blueberry.
