Notes

Parry's agave (Agave parryi var. truncata) is a succulent for borders, containers, specimen planting, and xeriscape. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy soil. It grows slowly as a clumping, evergreen plant that tolerates drought and salt, so it needs little care. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Blue grama, Desert willow, and Creeping thyme.
