Notes

'Perfect Storm' aloalo (Hibiscus 'Perfect Storm') is a perennial for borders, containers, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. Pink blooms with a red center eye open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies and bees visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer. Plants reach 30 to 36 inches tall, so give them room to spread.

Pairs well with Swamp milkweed, Prairie dropseed, and Cinnamon fern.
