Notes

'Kopper King' aloalo (Hibiscus 'Kopper King') is a perennial for borders, containers, rain gardens, and low maintenance plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. Light pink flowers with a red eye open in early to late summer and in early autumn. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Swamp milkweed, Joe Pye weed, Royal fern, and Sedge.
