Notes

'Lilac Crush' aloalo (Hibiscus 'Lilac Crush') is a perennial for borders and containers, and it needs little care. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Its wide lavender blue flowers have red eyes, and bees and butterflies visit them. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It comes up late in spring.

Pairs well with Bowl of Cream peony, Blue grama, and Francee hosta.
