Notes

'Cranberry Crush' aloalo (Hibiscus 'Cranberry Crush') is a perennial for borders, containers, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. Red flowers open from early to late summer and again from early to late autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer. Plants reach 36 to 48 inches tall and wide, so give them room.

Pairs well with Swamp milkweed, Bottlebrush buckeye, and Sedge.
