Notes

'Petite Rubies' peony (Paeonia 'Petite Rubies') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Small, fragrant, cup-shaped ruby red flowers attract butterflies and bees on stems up to 24 inches tall. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Roy G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Switchgrass, and Minuteman hosta.
