Notes

'Philadelphia' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Philadelphia') is a bulb for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. The fragrant flowers are red-purple on a white ground, and they draw bees. Stems reach about 47 inches tall, so you may want to stake them in a windy spot. A. Snoek bred it.

Pairs well with Tuberose, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Society garlic.
