Notes

'Phyllis Gold' rose (Rosa 'Phyllis Gold') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium yellow, fragrant blooms open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Growth is strong but uneven, so the canes can straggle and sprawl. Herbert Robinson bred it in 1935.

Pairs well with Bush honeysuckle, Woolly yarrow, and Nelly Moser clematis.
