Notes

'Phyllis' hardy fuchsia (Fuchsia 'Phyllis') is a shrub for borders, containers, and hummingbird gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun. It is a larger grower with many single to semi-double flowers in rose-red with magenta to lavender-purple centers. It blooms from early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn. To boost hardiness, bury the base of the shrub 3 to 4 inches below the soil surface, as you would a rose.

Pairs well with Alina rose, Mondo grass, and Society garlic.
