Notes

Pineapple lily (Eucomis comosa) is a bulb for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Dense spikes of greenish white flowers with purple centers rise above the leaves in late summer. The leaves have crimson spots and slightly wavy edges, and the stalks are spotted with dark purple. Bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Tuberose, and Calendula.
