Notes

Pineapple lily (Eucomis autumnalis) is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Its green leaves have wavy margins, and the flowers open white to light green on racemes up to 15 cm long. Bees visit the blooms in summer and autumn.

Pairs well with May Night salvia, Tuberose, and Black Baccara rose.
