Pink Dream tulip

Garden uses

Notes

'Pink Dream' tulip (Tulipa 'Pink Dream') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers open magenta and fade to fuchsin-purple with pale purple edges. Inside, each bloom has yellow blotches on an ivory-white ground. Joop Kapitein bred it, and it blooms from early to late spring.

Pairs well with Mount Hood daffodil, Honey Gold peony, and Little bluestem.
