Notes

'Pink Frosting' spotted beebalm (Monarda 'Pink Frosting') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the fragrant flowers. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It blooms in early to late summer, so you can cut it back after the show.

Pairs well with Fascination culver’s root, Lamb’s ear, and Waltraut sneezeweed.
