Notes

'Pixie' reticulated iris (Iris reticulata 'Pixie') is a bulb for borders, containers, and accent planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The violet purple flowers have yellow crests on the falls. They are fragrant and attract bees.

Pairs well with Lily of the valley, Japanese forest grass, and Wild geranium.
