Notes
'Spot on' reticulated iris (Iris reticulata 'Spot on') is a bulb for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Bees visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Common snowdrop, Winter aconite, Lenten rose, and Evergold sedge.
