Notes

'Alida' reticulated iris (Iris reticulata 'Alida') is a bulb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and naturalized drifts. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Its flowers are fragrant and attract bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Plant the bulbs in groups for the best show.

Pairs well with Common snowdrop, Winter aconite, Lenten rose, and Evergold sedge.
