Notes
'Playgold' rose (Rosa 'Playgold') is a shrub for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant grows up to 18 inches tall and has healthy medium green leaves. Bright orange and yellow flowers fade to soft pink and orange as they age, and bees visit the fragrant blooms. Ralph S. Moore bred it in 1997.
Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Blanket flower, and Little bluestem.
