Notes
'Playtime Mix Calendula' (Calendula officinalis 'Playtime Mix Calendula') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It handles cool weather and a light frost. This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Butterflies and bees visit the fragrant blooms, which come in spring, summer, and autumn. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and wide.
Pairs well with Blue Horizon flossflower, Zinnia, and Provence lavandin.
