Notes

'Pleiades' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pleiades') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It forms a dwarf, upright bush with 21 stems. The double, soft pink flowers grow in compact clusters. Some blooms are loosely made, so the stamens may show.

Pairs well with Butterfly milkweed, Indian grass, and Stargazer lily.
