Notes
'Poinsettia' rose (Rosa 'Poinsettia') is a compact shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It bears fragrant, medium red blooms in late spring, again in early to late summer, and into early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Howard & Smith bred it in 1938.
Pairs well with Red-hot poker, Stargazer lily, and Pink.
