Notes

'Polar Star' rose (Rosa 'Polar Star') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The white flowers are fragrant and attract bees. It blooms in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and it grows in a bushy mound with dark green leaves. Mathias Tantau, Jr. bred it in 1986.

Pairs well with Nelly Moser clematis, Woolly yarrow, and Little bluestem.
