Notes
'Porcupine' American century plant (Agave victoria-reginae 'Porcupine') is a succulent for containers, rock gardens, and dry borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Its thick, compact green leaves have white edges, and the rosette looks like an artichoke carved out of green stone. Give it excellent drainage, and grow it in a pot where winters are cold. Bring the pot indoors for winter in cold regions.
Pairs well with White sage, Lemongrass, and Vermillionaire cuphea.
