Notes

'Prarienacht' spotted beebalm (Monarda 'Prarienacht') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 35 to 47 inches tall and has fragrant flowers. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds all visit it. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Nobilis red-hot poker, Alpine aster, and Wyoming canna.
