Notes

'Pride of Langport' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pride of Langport') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Wide, cupped petals of pale rose-pink surround a cluster of bright golden yellow stamens. The stems are thin and wiry, so tall plants may need support. Kelway bred it.

Pairs well with Queen of Night tulip, Cinnamon fern, and Sweet William.
