Notes
'Pride of Remington' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pride of Remington') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its Tyrian pink flowers have a Japanese form and open in mid season. The numerous blooms are held high above the foliage, and the plant spreads to a medium size. Walter L. Gumm bred it.
Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Royal fern, Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
